Deer Lodge, MT- It was a quiet, somber scene outside the Montana State Prison early yesterday morning. The deceased remains of Shep Arnold were transported in a body bag, out a back door of the prison, and into the back of a waiting unmarked white van. From the prison’s main building, Arnold was taken to a crematorium where he is scheduled to be incinerated and put in a small box. Arnold had been in prison close to 3 years for his crimes involving turning human beings into human “Beef Jerky”.

Shep Arnold suffered a massive heart attack during the night. Being segregated from the rest of the prison population, no one was around to call for help and he eventually passed away alone, in his prion bunk.

A successful local business man in Butte Montana, his general store, “Shep’s Goods” was highly popular among the towns’ residents. His “Beef Jerky” was a best seller. A best seller that is, until a representative from Jack Link’s unwittingly helped uncover his human beef jerky operation.

Arnold had turned several summertime helpers into his tasty snack before he was ultimately caught and arrested. Family and friend’s of Shep Arnold, are asking that in lieu of flowers, to please donate to your local Vegan outreach programs and help spread the word that meat is not the answer.
